Overheard in a course while preparing for a certification exam:
Student #1: “I am really not ready for this test. I did a dry run, and got only 46% right.”
Student #2: “How many questions did you do?”
Student #1: “All seven hundred.”
Student #2: “Then you got nothing to worry about. You are simply so much more likely to get so many answers wrong with that many questions.”
As an aside, student #2 works as a system administrator and did not understand the concept of network- and broadcast address in IP networking.
And here I am, wondering why I hate my profession.
