My Indian Bea Weblogic support engineer called me, after our application team upgraded the incident’s severity last Friday. I now know why the case isn’t moving forward: Turns out he’s a young lady.

She sounded very nice, and had a really good English with just a slight accent; but since the case was opened three weeks ago she asked me the same information three times and completely ignored my theory on the cause of the problem.

I really don’t like it when my life experience reinforces stereotypes.
